Have you ever received one of those annoying pop-ups that look like a normal Windows dialog box. It would looks something like this: Click Read More to see the image.
You wouldn't have to be surfing the internet, just online.
This was a problem for the longest time for a friend of mine. He was about to pay $25 for a program that promised to fix it for him until he called me. I told him that it was a simple free fix.
- Go into your Control Panel and double-click Services.
- Scroll down the list until you find Messenger and double-click it.
- In the Startup Tyoe drop-down menu, click Disabled and then click the Stop button.
Now you will never get those annoying pop-up lists. Say Thank You David for saving me $25.
